All bookings will be scrutinised by the booking officer.
Only the caretaker or named responsible key holder will open the hall.
Furniture and surroundings will be kept in a good state of repair.
No activity that is obscene or offensive to public decency will be permitted on the premises.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
No activity that is likely to cause a breach of the peace will be permitted.
Police officers may enter the premises whenever it is open.
Only responsible key holders will be permitted to organise events.
Public Safety
Capacity will be limited to 200 persons in order to prevent overcrowding.
Electrical and fire certificates will be kept up to date.
Provision of emergency lighting and additional escape routes.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Music will be kept to a reasonable level.
Doors and windows will be kept closed during periods of entertainment.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Parent and adult attendants will always be present when children’s activities are taking place.
Childline and Parentline are displayed at the premises, as are ‘safety matters’ instructions regarding behaviour and parental responsibilities.
