General
Staff will be trained on licensing issues and objectives of the new regime.
There will always be either the applicant or fryer-manager on site who will be aware of the licensing objectives.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Outside lighting covering the forecourt;
Adequate lighting inside the premises;
Security cameras to be installed to monitor activity both inside and outside the premises. They will be linked to the applicant’s home so they can monitor the premises 24 hours a day. (These works to be undertaken in 2006)
The Alarm system in the Fish and Chip take-away will have a ‘panic’ button facility, which is linked to the Security Company and instant police response. All staff will be aware of this facility.
Public Safety
Alcohol will only be served between 1200 hours and 2300 Hours.
No Alcohol will be provided unless this accompanies a meal.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Three large bins will be provided for the public to place their litter in. One to be placed in the fish and chip takeaway, one in the pizza and kebab takeaway and one outside on the forecourt.
Staff will regularly clean the premises and sweep the floors throughout the day to prevent the build up of litter.
All deliveries of food will be taken around the back of the premises with the delivery vehicle parking in the car park supplied, to prevent the road outside the premises becoming blocked to other road users.
Notices asking patrons to consider others and ‘please leave quietly’ will be placed throughout both the take-away premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
