General
The DPS will take full responsibility of ensuring all staff are trained and have full knowledge of all Licensing issues concerning them under the Licensing Act 2003 including the ‘Challenge 21’ rule.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV to be installed on the premises with a minimum of 31 days recording capacity, there will be 7 internal cameras and 2 external cameras. All CCTV recordings shall be available to local police immediately upon request. One member of staff shall be trained to keep the CCTV in full working order at all times and maintained on an annual basis. The provision of CCTV will be in accordance with the Police’s reasonable recommendations
Alcoholic drinks shall not be consumed on the premises and strict enforcements shall be in place to ensure this is always adhered to.
Public Safety
The DPS will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessment and also health and safety risk assessments.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
All external areas of the premise will be monitored in relation to any anti-social behaviour or public nuisance.
The premises will only accept trade deliveries or rubbish collections during normal working hours.
Litter clearance will be made regularly.
The Protection of Children from Harm
‘Challenge 21’ – Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:-
Passport
Photo Driving Licence
A recognised valid photo-id card bearing the PASS hologram
Any future accredited and accepted proof of age as defined by Lincolnshire Police.
The premises will also have a refusals register and all refusals by any member of staff shall be recorded and will be available for the Police, Trading Standard officers and Licensing Authority officers to view at any time.
Notices will also be displayed supporting ‘NO ID-NO SALE’
