General
The premises licence will only normally be used in conjunction with Woodhall Spa Country Show which shall take place on one Sunday each year.
We will submit an action plan to the responsible authorities at least 8 weeks prior to any event held on the premises by the Woodhall Spa Country Show Ltd.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The designated premises supervisor will be responsible for the enclosed Bar area which will be cordoned off as reasonable requested by Lincolnshire Police
Alcohol will not be supplied other than during the permitted hours
Any reasonable request in relation to an event by a member of Lincolnshire Police will be complied with
Security will be available overnight before and during the event
Gate security to the event will be on site, as approved with the responsible authorities
Public Safety
At all events plastic/paper drinking and eating vessels will be used
Events shall be notified to Lincolnshire Police, the Licensing Authority and to Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service at least 56 days prior to any event
A risk assessment/action plan will be submitted to Lincolnshire Police and the Licensing Authority no later that 28 days prior to any event
The event organisers must ensure that their organisation is indemnified for public liability prior to an event
Show livestock will be fenced off from the main site to comply with Health and Safety and bio-security legislation
The general public will not be allowed in the cattle and horse lines or show rings while showing is in progress (see area outlined in red on plan)
Exhibitors must remove an animal if requested by stewards
There will be a designated safety officer on site during any event
The Show has a comprehensive saftey file with objectives and risk assessments relevant to the activities
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Event organisers will ensure that stewards are provided in a ratio of at least one per 100 persons present
No event will continue past 1700 Hours
Noise will be kept to an acceptable level
Event organisers will provide litter bins and ensure litter is controlled and removed within 24 hours of any event
No area of land under the control of Woodhall Spa Country Show Ltd will be used for the consumption of alcohol after 1700 hours, any consumption of alcohol shall cease at the close of the event
The Protection of Children from Harm
No person who appears to be under the age of 21 will be served alcohol without proof of age
Photographic proof of age in the form of passport, photo driving licence or other council approved photo ID scheme only is acceptable
All staff will be trained to recognise the potential for serving minors with alcohol
An incident book will be kept to record refusals
The applicant will ensure that personal licence holders initiate a programme as per ‘Challenge 21’ scheme
Trade stands will be monitored to ensure no inappropriate material is on display
There will be a plan to reunite ‘lost’ children
The premises licence application indicated that adult entertainment, services or activities will not be provided. Therefore the premises may not provide adult entertainment (that is, lap dancing, pole dancing, striptease, etc.).
