Annex 3 – Conditions Attached After a Hearing by the Licensing Authority
All external windows and doors will remain closed in the Terrace Function Room (or any other room used for the staging of functions) during periods of entertainment. (14 December 2006)
Access to the external terrace from the Terrace Function Room during periods of entertainment will be the door from the corridor near to the Lodge Restaurant, not the function room doors. The external door (located adjacent to the Lodge Restaurant) and the door between the Terrace Function Room and the corridor shall be fitted with self closing devices and will not be propped open in order to create a noise attenuating corridor/lobby. A noise-limiting device will be installed, fitted and maintained within the function room(s) and all amplified music will be played through that device. The noise limiter will be set in agreement with the ELDC Environment Team so that internal music levels are restricted so as to ensure that where events take place noise from the same will be inaudible or barely audible within nearby residential properties before 2300 Hours and will be inaudible within nearby residential properties after 2300 Hours. Where required by the Licensing Authority the Licensee shall submit a scheme for the provision of additional soundproofing to the Terrace Function Room. This scheme shall be agreed in writing with the Licensing Authority and works referred to within that scheme shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority. (14 December 2006)

There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices asking the public/customers to respect the needs of local residents and requiring the public/customers to leave the premises and the area quietly. (14 December 2006)
N.B. The provision of fireworks is not a licensable activity and so cannot be controlled by this premises licence. However, for future reference the following is noted:
At the Licensing Hearing on 14 December 2006 the licence holder undertook not to provide fireworks or other pyrotechnics at the premise without the prior consent of the Council’s Environment Team. (14 December 2006)
