There shall be no time restriction to the sale of alcohol to residents and supply to their bona fide guests - see below.

 

Alcohol sales are permitted to genuine residents of the licensed premises and to any private friends of a person so residing who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense and the consumption of alcohol by such persons so supplied.

 

Such bona fide guests shall be required to sign a written record at reception providing a record of their name, their residential friend, the time and date and that record be retained for 12 months and produced to Police officers or Local Authority licensing officers upon request.

 

Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied;

(a)  unless the premises are bona fide used, or intended to be used, for the purposes of habitually providing for reward board and lodging, including breakfast and one other at least of the customary main meals;

 

(b)  on the premises otherwise than to persons residing there or their private friends bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person or his private friend so entertained by him on the premises.
