General
Boston Golf Club Limited is run by an elected committee on behalf of the members under the terms of the Club’s constitution and rules. Compliance by member is assured by the fact that it is a private member club who are subject to the rules of the Club.
Entry to the Club and the sale or supply of alcohol will only be permitted to:
Club playing and social members
Guests of Club members
Temporary playing members
Persons attending a prearranged event at the venue.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV and recording facilities are provided at the point of access onto the premises.
Public Safety
Not Applicable.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Music will be kept at reasonable levels and will be subject to periodic noise patrols.
Any temporary structures (i.e. marquees) that may be used from time to time will be sited on the side of the premises away from any local residential properties.
The Club premises are located in a rural area and there are no domestic properties within 250 yards of the Golf premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy to prevent the supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce one of the following forms of identification:
A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
Photo driving licence
Passport
Any other means of identification approved by the DPS.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be
clearly seen and read and shall indicate:
That proof of age may be requested at the premises and those accepted means for proof of age listed as above.
No sale to under 18’s will be permitted.
All point of sale staff shall undergo training in the above policy with a record kept of the date of
training, signed by the member of staff and the trainer.
Each entry shall be retained for a period of 24 months from date of completion.
This record shall be made available for inspection by Lincolnshire Police Officers or other parties
acting on their behalf.
No person under the age of 18 years will be admitted to the premises when adult entertainment is being provided.
