The Club Management, Steward and Bar Staff are informed of The Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to comply with all relevant provisions of the Act.
Annual Formal Reviews will be carried out of the Risk Assessments under the 4 Government Licensing objectives, together with an Annual Fire Risk Assessment.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Member of Pub watch in Louth.
Club Constitution includes Rules on conduct of guests and members.
Admission is confined to member and bona fide guests.
Signing in guests is supervised by the Steward.
Drunk or disorderly guests are not served or admitted entrance.
Misconduct is reported to Management Committee.
Public Safety
The Club complies with advised capacity limits.
The Club’s electrical installation is inspected and tested every 3 years in accordance with BS7671;2001 by an appropriately qualified person.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
When music is played all reasonable steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties including entertainers being briefed on acceptable sound levels.
All events will be inside.
Signs are displayed requesting members and guests leave quietly at the end of events and verbal reminder also given at end of live entertainment evenings.
The area surrounding the premises is kept clean and tidy.
The Protection of Children from Harm
No persons under 18 years of age are admitted to Full Club Membership.
Proof of age is requested where necessary.
No child under 18 years of age will be permitted unless accompanied by parent or responsible adult.
The Club operates a Junior Membership for those between 16 and 18 years of age to play pool and snooker. Junior members have to be accompanied and supervised by a parent or responsible adult.
