General
A tamper proof CCTV system shall be installed, maintained in working order and operated at the premises.
The temporary bars for the sale of alcohol (marked on the plan deposited with the Licensing Authority) will only be used during busy events at the Embassy Centre.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
When considered appropriate by the premises licence holder, there shall be provided at the premises door supervisors who are registered with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to such a number as the management of the premises consider are sufficient to control the entry of persons to the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for a licensable activity.
Door supervisors must display their SIA identification badge at all times whilst on duty at the licensed premises.
The Licensee shall maintain a record of the name, address and registration number of each SIA door supervisor, the time and date of commencement of periods of work together with a brief record of any incident. The record shall be retained for a period of eighteen months following the last entry in the book.
A drugs policy in respect of the premises must be submitted the Licensing Authority. Such policy will set out the procedures to be carried out for searching customers for drugs on entry to the licensed premises, the procedure for dealing with drugs found within the licensed premises and for dealing with anyone found using or supplying drugs on the premises.
The Licensee shall at all times ensure that the drugs policy referred to above is complied with.
A hard-bound record book or register must be kept by the Licensee on the licensed premises to record all drugs seizures, finds and collections together with details of the member(s) of staff involved, police officer(s) to whom the drugs are released and if known details of the user or dealer involved. The register must be made available to the Licensing Authority and to the Police upon reasonable request.
The Licensee shall have on the licensed premises a deposit box approved by the Police and this shall be used for the storage of any drugs found within the premises pending collection of the drugs by the Police.
An appropriate storage facility shall be provided by the Licensee at the licensed premises for the storage of needles or sharps pending collection by the Police.
The Licensee shall inform the Police of any drugs seizures or finds within the licensed premises as soon as practicable thereafter.
An appropriate cool room/area with seating shall be provided by the Licensee within the licensed premises which must be cooler and quieter than the dancing areas.
The Licensee must operate an effective counting system to monitor the numbers of patrons entering the licensed premises.
Notices will be clearly displayed and maintained at the premises regarding the venue’s policy in relation to the misuse of drugs and underage drinking.
When the terminal hour of the premises is extended (under the event day provision) written notice of the event will be given to the Licensing Authority and Lincolnshire Police at least four weeks in advance of the event.
Public Safety
Maximum number of persons permitted on the licensed premises in respect of regulated entertainment:
Auditorium:
Total occupancy for the level O auditorium when used with seating/tables 500
Total occupancy for the level O auditorium when used with fixed seating 760
Total occupancy for the level O auditorium when used with seating retracted 950
Total occupancy for the level 1 auditorium fixed seating 440
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
The licensee shall not permit the use of the licensed premises to become a nuisance to persons in the neighbourhood and, in particular, shall take all necessary precautions to prevent persons in the neighbourhood being disturbed by noise. The licensee shall comply with any noise standard specified by the Licensing Authority.
When required by the Licensing Authority, automatic control of the volume output from any musical equipment shall be installed and set at a level as directed by the Licensing Authority.
The premises will be provided with secondary glazing in order to minimise the risk of noise escape from the venue.
The premises licence holder (or nominated person) will ensure that the area abutting the premises is regularly cleaned to ensure that litter is removed and properly disposed.
Loading and unloading at the venue will take place at a time (or times) that will result in the minimum public nuisance.
Doors and windows at the premises will be kept closed during periods of entertainment.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Access to adult shows will be restricted to over 18’s and shows will be clearly advertised to this effect.
